Wednesday Night MTB Racing:

Course
4 miles of a fun, challenging combination of twisting single-track, wide double track, rolling cross-country with some sand and a bit of pavement, see the Course Map

Course Start – on levee adjacent to Granite Beach parking lot
Course Laps – Look for us just north of Granite Beach parking lot
Course finish – at set-up at northeast corner of Granite Beach picnic area

Junior Male 14 and under
Junior Female 14 and under
Novice Male 29–under, 30+over
Novice Female 29–under, 30+over

Sport Male 29-under, 30-39, 40+over
Sport Female 39-under, 40+plus

SS Male 39-under, 40+plus

Expert Male 29-under, 30-39, 40-49, 50+over
Expert Female 29-under, 30+over

Laps
Junior/Novice 2 laps, 8 miles
Sport/Singlespeed 3 laps, 12 miles
Expert 4 laps, 16 miles

Series
Series champions (each division) will receive Champion Shirts based upon least amount of points (1st place = 1 point, 2nd place = 2 points etc.). Champions must finish all three races.

Fees:

$20/$25 race day


Start Time: 6:30 pm. Packet pick up: from 5-6:30 pm at Race Site.

Race Features

The Wednesday Night MTB Races will have a 2-lap Novice and Junior division, a Sport and Single Speed division with 3-laps, and a 4-lap Expert/Pro division. Each lap is 4 miles of challenging, scenic, fast single track trails, up and down the foothills surrounding Folsom Lake. The Wednesday Night MTB Races are a great way to enjoy weeknight mountain biking. The fun course has a mixture of downhills and climbs combined with beautiful single track through the woods and along the lakeshore at Folsom Lake State Park.

Course Description:
The Wednesday Night MTB race course is on multi-use trails within the Granite Bay State Park on Folsom Lake. The course features a fun, challenging combination of twisting single-track, wide double track, rolling cross-country with some sand and a bit of pavement. The course is perfect for first-timers and exciting fun for all levels. Please be respectful of other trail users including hikers and equestrian riders in this state park. All events are rain or shine, the course is great to ride in all weather.

Equipment:
Listening devices of any kind: MP3, IPod, headphones, etc…are not allowed. Helmets must be worn and buckled on the bike at all times.

Race Extras

Post Race Athlete Food:
Included for each competitor is a post race snack with fruit and cold beverages.

Training and Coaching:
TBF Training provides group workouts and coaching for the sport of Triathlon along with individual Multi-Sport Coaching and Personal Training.
