Packet pick up: Sunday January 22 from 6:30 am - 8 am at Race Site.

Race Features

Short Track MTB Race Course Description
The New Short Track MTB Races will combine the best terrain at Granite Bay, Folsom Lake: single track trails, decomposed granite, and air-launches into an awesome 1.5-2 mile lap course for athletes to ride two, three, or four laps on and enjoy a fast fun race.

Aid Stations:

There will be one main Aid Station located at the start/finish area that will have water, electrolyte, energy drinks, CLIF Gel shots, CLIF Bars, CLIF Bloks and other snacks/foods.
Equipment:
Listening devices of any kind: MP3, IPod, headphones, etc...are not allowed. Athletes may use the same bike for both bike legs. Outside aid is not allowed during any of the legs of the race. Helmets must be worn and buckled on the bike at all times. Bike numbers must be visible on both bikes. Run numbers must be worn on the run and when crossing the finish line.

Divisions/Awards:
For the Short Track MTB Race the Divisions will be: 10 and under, 11-14 yrs old, 15-17 years old, 18-24 years old, 25-39 years old, 40-59 years, and 60+ with awards to first overall in each division for Male and Female riders.


Race Extras
Competitor Goodies:
Included for each competitor is an athlete Swag Bag.

Post Race Athlete Food:
Included for each competitor is a post race meal of hot soups and other foods, fruit, desserts, snacks and beverages.

Race Course and Finish Line Photography:
Action photographs before, during and after the event will be taken by James Pratt Photography, the Official Race Photographer for Total Body Fitness, and available online at James Pratt Photography after the race.

Training and Coaching:
TBF Training provides group workouts and coaching for the sport of Triathlon along with individual Multi-Sport Coaching and Personal Training.

Race Gear:
Look your best and race your best with TBF Triathlon apparel. Bike jerseys, Tri Singlets, and Tri Shorts are available in both male and female styles/sizes.

TBF Apparel:
