Race Details
The Lost Trail Half Marathon
The Lost Trail Half Marathon starts along the shore of Folsom Lake and after a short section on pavement begins climbing the small hills of the shoreline for an out and back course that veers once to a scenic point along the lake and returns up some short but steep hills, with aid stations spread evenly along the course. There is a climb up Mooney Ridge on the way back to the finish line. The 5K Run/Walk Course will be on a combination of crushed granite paths on the lakeshore, single track trails and some pavement on roads within the State Park at Folsom Lake.
Start Times: The Lost Trail Half Marathon at 8:00 am, 5K Run/Walk at 8:30 am.
Packet pick up: Saturday March 3rd from 7-9 am at Race Site.

Course Description:
Half Marathon
The Lost Trail Half Marathon Challenge starts along the shore of Folsom Lake and after a short section on pavement begins climbing the small hills of the shoreline for an out and back course that veers once to a scenic point along the lake and returns up some short but steep hills, with aid stations spread evenly along the course. 5krun/walk
The 5K Run/Walk Course will be on a combination of crushed granite paths on the lakeshore, single track trails and some pavement on roads within the State Park at Folsom Lake.

Aid Stations:
Aid stations will be located on the course at miles 1, 2.5, 3.5, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 – each serving cold water, Electrolyte beverage, and CLIF Shot energy gels and Bloks.
Course Maps: Lost Half Marathon | 5k run/walk
Divisions/Awards:
First place Overall Male and Female in the Half Marathon Challenge will receive Overall Champion Awards. There will be awards three deep in each ten-year age group for the Lost Trail Half Marathon.
For the 5k run/walk, awards will be three deep in each ten year age group, plus overall champion awards for first overall male and female.
Equipment:
Listening devices: MP3, IPod, headphones, etc…ARE allowed. Runners must exercise caution when crossing any roads and must pay attention at all times when running trails.

Competitor Goodies:
Athletes entered in The Lost Trail Half Marathon Challenge will receive a custom tech-tee race shirt, and athlete goody bag with CLIF Bar and Emerald Nuts product samples.
Post Race Athlete Food:
Included for each competitor is a post race meal of hot soup or chili with fruit, cookies and beverage.
Training and Coaching:
TBF Training provides group workouts and coaching for the sport of Triathlon along with individual Multi-Sport Coaching and Personal Training.
