In addition to the Granite Bay Trail Half Marathon there will be the Granite Bay Trail 5K, which includes a custom cotton race t-shirt, post race Beer Bash and BBQ, athlete goody bag, raffle prizes, RedBull, free coffee and more for only $25.

Divisions

There will be 10-year age groups beginning with 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and ending with 70+ for male and female individuals.

Awards

There will be a first place overall award for the top male and female individual. Awards will be given to the top three athletes in each 10-year age group.

Course Description and Map

The Granite Bay Trail Half Marathon will be a one-loop course traveling south and north of Granite Beach on a combination of scenic and remote single track trails combined with hiking paths along the lake that wind and climb up to a high viewpoint and then descend to a vista point on the lake. There are seven aid stations on the course stocked with CLIF Electrolyte beverage, ice cold water, CLIF Shots and more.

Rules and Regulations

Run Course – Run numbers must be worn on the run and when crossing the finish line. Exercise caution when running off of the trails, as there may be Poison Oak. Headphones ARE allowed for the Granite Bay Trail Half Marathon.

Finish Line

After crossing the finish line please take a cold water or Clif Bar Sports beverage and continue walking to allow your body to cool down. You should remain active for 10 to 15 minutes while you are drinking and re-fueling your body. If you need medical attention or are feeling unwell please proceed to the TBF Medical Tent or notify a TBF Volunteer that you need medical attention.

Packet Pick-up

Packet pick-up and registration will be available from 7 to 9 am at the race start/finish area at Granite Beach of Folsom Lake, Granite Bay.

TBF Nutrition

Clif Bars are provided in all athlete goody bags. Clif Shot Electrolyte Drink and water are available in transition and on the run courses. Clif Shot Energy Gels are available on the run courses. Clif Shot Recovery Drink and Vitamin Water are available at the finish line. Red Bull Energy Drink is available at all TBF Racing events.

Accommodations near Granite Bay	There is an entrance fee to the California State Park at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake for each vehicle. Parking is available at the start/finish area
Race for FREE	Spectator Information
Our TBF Racing Athlete Volunteer Program offers you a chance to get involved with events, have fun and earn a $40 TBF Racing voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events - plus free food. Pick up your RACE For FREE Athlete Voucher at the end of your shift. Complete event schedule	Spectators are welcome at the Granite Bay Half Marathon and all TBF Racing events. Spectator food and drinks will be available for sale and free coffee is available in the morning. Stop by the TBF booth at the expo and find out how you can learn the sport of Triathlon through TBF Training
Refund and Transfer Policy
TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus $25 processing fee. *Credits will not be given during race week.* Transfers will be allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame.
