Advance Series Sign Ups receive Custom TBF Friday Night MTB Hat and save $10.

Only $50 in advance for the three race Series on June, 13, 20 and 27, includes TBF MTB Hat (only with Advance Series Sign Up).

Registration
Divisions

There will be Junior (14 and under), Novice, Sport, and Expert Divisions for the Friday Night MTB Racing Series. Junior and Novice Divisions will do One Lap. Sport Division will do two laps, and Expert Division will do three laps. Each lap is 6 miles.

Series Awards

There will be Series Awards for the age group champion in each Division. First overall male and female rider for each division will receive TBF MTB Champion Apparel for their Series Victory. Finish points will be awarded to the top riders in each division: 1 point for 1 st , 2 points for 2 nd , etc…and tallied for the three races – with the lowest total winning, in order to establish each age group division Champion.

Course Description and Map

The course is perfect for first-timers and exciting for all levels, the faster you go the more fun it is! All events are rain or shine, the course is great to ride in all types of weather.

Mountain Bike Rules and Regulations

Numbers must be worn when crossing the finish line. Exercise caution on the side of the trails, as there may be Poison Oak.

Use of headphones or other listening devices during ALL portions of the race ARE NOT ALLOWED.

Finish Line
After crossing the finish line please take a cold water or Clif Bar Sports beverage and continue walking to allow your body to cool down. You should remain active for 10 to 15 minutes while you are drinking and re-fueling your body. If you need medical attention or are feeling unwell please proceed to the TBF Medical Tent or notify a TBF Volunteer that you need medical attention.

Packet Pick-up
Race Number and p acket pick-up and registration will be available from 5 pm to 6 pm at the race start/finish area at Granite Beach of Folsom Lake, Granite Bay.

TBF Nutrition
Clif Bars are provided in all athlete goody bags. Clif Shot Electrolyte Drink and water are available in transition and on the run courses. Clif Shot Energy Gels are available on the run courses. Clif Shot Recovery Drink and Vitamin Water are available at the finish line. Red Bull Energy Drink is available at all TBF Racing events.

KIDS

kids We will have three Chanoko Kids Duathlons, Chanoko Kids Jr. Duathlon and & Kids Trail Runs on February 2, February 23 and March 15 as part of the Chanoko Duathlon series. We will host the Roseville Schools 5k Fun Run in April that will benefit the schools of Roseville.

Our 2008 TRI for KIDS will be now be a five-race series in June 8, July 13 , August 3, August 23 and a TRI for KIDS Championship Triathlon Race (and Open race) on September 23. These fun races at Rancho Seco Park will feature a swim of 50/150 meters, a 4 mile bike and a 1-mile run for athletes 11 to 14 years of age. There will be a shorter swim for the athletes 7-10. In total, in 2008 there will be:

6 Kids Mountain Bike Duathlon Races in the Spring
3 Kids Trail Runs in the Spring

Spectator Information
Our TBF Racing Athlete Volunteer Program offers you a chance to get involved with events, have fun and earn a $40 TBF Racing voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events - plus fee food. Pick up your RACE For FREE Athlete Voucher at the end of your shift. Complete event schedule
Spectators are welcome at the Friday Night Mountain Bike Racing and all TBF Racing events. Spectator food and drinks will be available for sale and free coffee is available in the morning. Stop by the TBF booth at the expo and find out how you can learn the sport of Triathlon through TBF Training

Refund and Transfer Policy

TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus $25 processing fee. Credits will not be given during race week.

Transfers will be allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There will be a $25 transfer fee. Transfers will not be allowed during race week.
