Jamie's Race is a 2 mile run-5 mile mt bike – for adults, aged 15 and over. We are calling it “Jamie’s Race” because Jamie Whitmore got started racing Chanoko events, back when it was 2-8-2, and she (and we) want more people to experience Chanoko, so we are offering this shorter-distance race.

Great Kids Events with the Chanoko Kids Duathlon – 2 mile run-5 mile mt bike and the Short Course Chanoko Kids Jr Duathlon – 1 mile run-1.5 mile mt bike, plus a Kids Trail Run of 2 miles.

Continuing from 2008 is the Chanoko Trail Run Series with a 6 mile challenging trail run offering awards three deep and Series Championship awards.

Supporting Jamie Whitmore

Jamie Whitmore is no stranger to a tough challenge. You don't become 2007 xterra triathlon USA champion, 2004 xterra triathlon world champion & 2003/04 xterra triathlon European champion without a good fight. On July 14, Jamie underwent surgery to remove a second tumor, discovered several weeks earlier. she had a previous tumor removed on march 28. Jamie's fight to get back continues each hour of each day.

Jamie's no stranger to TBF athletes either.  She and her husband Courtney have raced the Chanoko series for years and have provided encouragement and advice for many aspiring athletes.  Now, it's your opportunity to show your support for Jamie by making a donation when you sign-up for the New Years Duathlon or any one of the three Chanoko Series races.

You can visit Jamie Whitmore's website for updates.
